Inconel 825 or Incoloy 825 is a grade that consists mainly of Nickel, Chromium and Iron but also contains Copper, Titanium and Molybdenum. That composition provides excellent resistance to an array of corrosive environments. Between the Molybdenum, the Nickel and Titanium, this alloy gives outstanding resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids, it’s resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion and with appropriate heat treating it is stable against the sensitization to inter-granular corrosion.

Inconel 825 or Alloy 825 is available in round bar, pipe, tubing, sheet and plate. Inconel 825 is used in oil and gas or petrochemical applications as well as some marine and acidic environments.
