Inconel® 718 is a nickel-chromium, precipitation hardening alloy that can maintain good ductility and high strength up to 1300°F. Inconel 718 has relatively good formability, weldability and excellent cryogenic properties compared to other PH nickel alloys. In addition, this alloy can be readily welded w/out hardening or cracking. Inconel 718 is non-magnetic and has good oxidation and corrosion resistance in aerospace applications.
