440A Stainless Steel combines the superior corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels with the excellent wear resistance of high carbon alloys. Cutlery is a major use of 440A. This grade of stainless steel is not easily blanked due to its higher strength and hardness, therefore, a more powerful press could be required to blank parts. Looking for more information on 440A?
