  • Excellent Corrosion Resistance

AM 355 is a Molybdenum-Chromium-Nickel steel that can be heat treated through precipitation hardening. This alloy can be used in aerospace applications that undergo elevated temperatures. AM 355 offers great corrosion resistance especially when compared to other martensitic stainless grades. It responds well to both hot working and cold working but when machining or hot/cold working please consult a metallurgist to ensure the proper procedures are being followed.

Looking for where to buy AM 355? Call Michlin Metals today. It is readily available in round bar. For other shapes like sheet, it would likely require larger quantities. For more specialty alloys click here.
